Our Team
A little history...Kirke Olson, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, author and speaker who has devoted nearly 40 years to helping preschool, elementary, middle, and high school teachers apply peer reviewed research from neuroscience, positive psychology, and mindfulness to educate the most complex students.
He is co-owner of The Positivity Company where he helps lead workshops teaching mental health professionals to apply neuroscience, positive psychology, and mindfulness with their clients.
He is also co-owner of Warren Street Family Counseling Associates in Concord, NH where he maintains a small private practice.
Dr. Olson is the author of The Invisible Classroom: Relationships, Neuroscience, and Mindfulness in Schools published by W. W. Norton & Company in 2014. The book was awarded an honorable mention as a favorite book of 2014 by Greater Good at University of California Berkeley and recommended by the Association of College and Research Libraries (A division of the American Library Association).
He is a graduate of the first international class on Positive Psychology and Authentic Happiness taught by Martin Seligman, Ph.D. (he assisted teaching a subsequent edition of the class) and a graduate of the first “interpersonal neurobiology intensive” led by Dan Siegel, MD. He is Secretary of the board of directors of GAINS (Global Association for Interpersonal Neurobiological Studies) https://mindgains.org .
Kirke holds a Doctor of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England; a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from University of Nebraska (Omaha) and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Sher Kamman, Psy.D. is a Licensed New Hampshire psychologist with more than 30 years of experience. She is a specialist in healing trauma, a certified EMDR therapist and consultant who leads training groups for other therapists in northern New England.
She leads consultation groups focused on strengths and passions, and works with individuals and small groups in strength based therapy. She teaches workshops on applying positive psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, and mindfulness to organizations, schools, mental health professionals, and the general public.
Sher is also a well-respected photographer with work that has hung in many venues including The Millbrook Gallery, Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery, and McGowan Gallery. See her website at SherKamman.com.
She is a co-founder of The Positivity Company and co-owner of Warren Street Family Counseling Associates. She is a graduate of the second international class in Positive Psychology and Authentic Happiness Coaching taught by Martin Seligman, Ph.D. Sher holds a Doctor of Psychology Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. Her dissertation focused on the factors contributing to positive change with adolescents in residential treatment. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire.
